Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures across the area are still mild with readings ranging from 60 in Clifton down to 46 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the northwest.

A cold front moved through our area overnight and high pressure will build from the north of the Great Lakes. Skies will become mostly sunny but it will be cooler with highs mainly in the upper 60s. With low humidity and gusty winds there is a chance of brush fires.
Tonight will be chilly with fair skies and light winds; temperatures will dip to near 40 in Clifton area down to the freezing mark across some areas of northwest New Jersey.
Tomorrow and Friday will continue to be cool but with diminishing winds as the high pressure moves closer to our area.
A frontal system will likely give us some rain Saturday and Saturday night.
Milder on Sunday with plenty of sunshine.
Continued dry early next week with temperatures at or slightly above normal.
