Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from 49 in Clifton down to 40 at Basking Ridge, Walpack and Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will be settling offshore ahead of a cold front. Today will be mostly sunny and seasonably mild. The cold front will cross the area this evening with a low chance of showers mainly between 6-9 p.m.
Thursday and Friday will be dry as high pressure builds from north of the Great Lakes.
The forecast for the holiday weekend looks more favorable with dry conditions. Temperatures will be near normal on Saturday and then rise to above normal levels Sunday and on Memorial Day.
At this point next week looks to be warm and continued mainly dry.
