Yesterday we had the worst air quality in decades in our area from smoke from the Quebec wildfires especially in the early afternoon with the sky turning a strange brownish orange color.
Today we should have less haze and smoke but rather bad air quality should remain. Also there is a chance of an afternoon or evening shower.
Less haze and smoke on Friday with showers likely.
The weekend looks to be mainly dry with warmer temperatures as the upper level low that has been just off the Maine coast finally moves away and high pressure builds into the area.
Warm and rather humid conditions Monday through Wednesday with chance of showers each day as a frontal system moves through our area.
