Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and there is much less smoke and haze in the area. Early temperatures range from 55 in Clifton down to 45 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northwesterly.

Much improved air today as much of the smoke and haze has moved to our south. An upper level low over New England will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly this afternoon and evening, some of the showers may be accompanied by some small hail.

Mainly dry weather for the weekend with warmer temperatures, highs will be near 80 on Saturday and then in the mid 80s on Sunday.

A frontal system will likely give us well needed rain mainly Monday night through Wednesday afternoon, temperatures will be seasonably warm with somewhat higher humidity.

TODAY – JUNE 9 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers and possibly a thunderstorm, some storms may be accompanied by gusty winds and small hail, highs in the low 70s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm in the evening, some storms may be accompanied by gusty winds and small hail, lows in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 10 – Partly sunny, highs near 80.

SUNDAY – JUNE 11 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – JUNE 12 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely, highs in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – JUNE 13 – Partly sunny with showers likely, highs in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 14 – Partly sunny with afternoon and evening showers likely, highs in the upper 70s.
