Skies have become mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 67 in Clifton down to 61 at High Point. Winds are light mainly from the southwest. The air quality is good with an index of 48.

Yesterday we didn’t have any showers as most of the activity stayed to our north and west.

A weak cold front is passing through the area today and we will have a light northerly flow of drier air. With plenty of sunshine, highs will be warmer than yesterday but the humidity will be lower with dew points around 60.

Another nice day on Sunday as high pressure builds into the area giving us mostly sunny conditions again with seasonably warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.

A frontal system will likely give us showers and thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday.

Dry weather Wednesday and Thursday with near normal temperatures, it may be a little windy on Wednesday.

Another frontal system may touch off some showers on Friday.

FRIDAY – AUG 11 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, highs in the mid 80s.
