Cloudy and humid today with showers heavy at times through early this evening! Mostly sunny, windy and much cooler and less humid on Sunday! Mostly sunny and cool but with less wind on Monday! Chance of showers Tuesday morning!

Skies are cloudy and there are some heavy showers now over the Clifton area with other scattered showers over the rest of the area. Temperatures are mild ranging from the low to mid 60s. The winds are mainly calm and the humidity remains high. The air quality is good with an index of 40.

A frontal system will be moving through the area today producing showers that may be heavy at time through early this evening. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are expected with some higher amounts. Highs will be around 70. After the front passes much cooler and drier air will move into the area by late tonight.

Low pressure will move to eastern Canada and we will have a cyclonic flow of cool and dry air. It will be windy with some gusts to 30 mph possible.

Monday will again be mostly sunny but with less wind as high pressure builds into the area from the west.

A weak frontal system moving through may touch off some light showers Tuesday morning.

Dry with seasonably cool temperatures Wednesday and Thursday. Milder on Friday but there will be a chance of showers as another frontal system approaches our area.

TODAY – OCT 7 – Cloudy with showers heavy at times with a chance of an isolated thunderstorm, highs near 70.

TONIGHT – Showers likely in the evening then clearing and becoming cooler and much less humid, lows in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – OCT 8 – Mostly sunny and breezy, highs in the low 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 9 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – OCT 10 – Chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 11 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY – OCT 12 – Partly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – OCT 13 – Increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain, highs near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisories is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday morning for westerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 6-9 feet.

OUTLOOK: Advisories still possible during the day on Monday; no advisories expected for Tuesday and Wednesday.
