The calm before the storm today as we will have partly sunny skies and highs in the middle 50s as high pressure moves off the coast. Winds will be mainly calm or light southerly.
A strong frontal system will give us rain beginning shortly after daybreak on Sunday. Rain should be light to moderate during the day but become heave at times at night with even a chance of a thunderstorm. Winds will gust to near 40 mph especially at night into early Monday morning. As colder air moves in behind the storm some of the precipitation may mix with snow well inland before ending Monday morning.
Quiet weather with dry conditions and near normal temperatures most if all of next week. The next chance of rain may again be next Sunday.
