A storm well off shore will be moving further east but still cause mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of some flurries. Winds will be a little brisk out of the northwest.

A weak warm front approaching from the west will cause mostly cloudy skies on Thursday with temperatures continued chilly with again a slight chance of flurries.

High pressure will then build into our area from the southeast and we will have a southwesterly flow of milder air along with dry conditions Friday and Saturday.

A strong low pressure system will give us rain possibly heavy at times Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning. Rainfall amounts will average between 1 and 1 1/2 inch. Also there will be strong southerly winds possibly gusting to above 40 mph.

Today will be a cooler day as weak high pressure builds into the area. A weak disturbance is expected to move to our south overnight and may touch off some flurries inland but most areas will remain dry.

Another high pressure area will dominate our weather Wednesday and Thursday with cooler than normal temperatures.

As the high pressure moves off shore we will have a southwesterly flow of milder air Friday through the weekend but a rather strong low pressure system will likely give us rain and possible some strong winds on Sunday.

Fair with near seasonable temperatures are expected early next week.

The low pressure system that gave us the rain yesterday is moving off the coast as a weak high pressure builds into the area. Skies will start off partly sunny but we should have considerable cloudiness this afternoon. High temperatures will be a little above normal.

High pressure will continue to build into our area Tuesday through Thursday giving us dry weather with temperatures a little below normal.

Milder Friday into the weekend as the high pressure moves off the coast and we will have more of a southerly flow. A rather strong low pressure system is expected to affect our area on Sunday giving us a good chance of rain.

CLIFTON’S CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR NOVEMBER 2023

November’s average temperature was 44.3 degrees which was slightly below normal. The highest temperature was 68 recorded on the 16th, the lowest was 24 degrees on the 29th. Precipitation totaled 3.95′ which was near normal. Most of the rain came on the 21-22nd and again on the 26th.

FALL’S CLIMATE FOR 2023.

This fall was slightly above normal in temperatures and well above normal in precipitation as September and October were quite wet.
