Good morning everyone!
Another cloudy and mild morning on this Saturday but at least the rain and drizzle have moved away. Temperatures range from near 40 in Clifton down to 33 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 63.
CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR JANUARY 27TH:
AVERAGE HIGH: 37 AVERAGE LOW: 22
RECORD HIGH: 67 – 1974 RECORD LOW: -5 – 1994
YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 47 LOW: 39 PRECIPITATION: .20″
A weak area of high pressure will keep our area dry with mild temperatures and light winds. There will be more clouds than sunshine.
A coastal low will give us rain on Sunday with brisk northeast winds, the rain may mix with snow before ending Monday morning. Higher elevations to our north and west may pick up a dusting to an inch of snow.
Mainly dry with near or slightly above normal temperatures the rest of next week. There is a low pressure area forming offshore on Wednesday, but at this time the low looks to be too far south to give us any precipitation.
