Skies are clear early on this Sunday morning and most areas are the coldest temperatures of this month with readings ranging from 19 in Clifton down to 10 at High Point. Winds are from the north averaging 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

After a cold start we will have mostly sunny skies with high temperatures near normal as high pressure moves through the area.

Some cloudiness early Monday then it will become mostly sunny and milder.

Continued quite mild Tuesday through Wednesday night ahead of a cold front that will cross the area early on Thursday. Rain from the frontal system is likely, mainly from after midnight Tuesday night through early Thursday morning!

Dry but cooler Thursday and Friday as high pressure builds into our area. Thursday may be quite windy with gusts over 30 mph.

Mild weather should return for next weekend.
