Colder and windy today along with mostly sunny skies! Mostly sunny and a little milder with less wind on Friday! Rain and continued mild on Saturday! Mainly dry and quite mild Sunday and Monday! Continued very mild Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance of rain!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are more than 20 degrees colder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 28 in Clifton down to 21 at High Point. Winds are out of the west-northwest gusty at times to 30-35 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 29.

Much colder and windy today as high pressure builds from the Midwest. Highs temperatures today will only be in the low 40s but with winds gusting to 30 mph will make it feel much colder.

Friday will be milder after a chilly early morning, skies will be mostly sunny with much less wind than today as the high pressure moves off the coast. We should have an increase in clouds tonight with rain likely after midnight that may briefly start off as a mixture of snow.

A weak low pressure area offshore will give us cloudy and mild conditions on Saturday with rain expected, temperatures will be milder with highs near 50.

Mainly dry Sunday and Monday with quite mild temperatures as high pressure moves through our area.

Unsettled weather but continued quite mild Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance of rain both days as a couple of weak low pressure areas move into our area.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear with slowly diminishing winds, lows in the mid 20s.

FRIDAY – MAR 1 – Sunny, highs in the upper 40s, increasing clouds at night with rain likely after midnight possible mixed with snow at the start.

SATURDAY – MAR 2 – Cloudy with rain, highs near 50.

SUNDAY – MAR 3 – Partly sunny and milder, highs near 60.

MONDAY – MAR 4 – Mostly cloudy, highs in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY – MAR 5 – Cloudy with a chance of rain, highs in the upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, highs in the upper 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until 11 a.m. this morning for northwest winds gusting to 40 knots, seas 6-10 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected tonight through Friday night; advisories expected Saturday and Sunday; no advisories expected for Monday.
