Rain ending before daybreak on Sunday but staying mostly cloudy and becoming windy by the afternoon with a chance of rain or snow showers! Dry and cool with strong winds on Monday! Mainly dry the rest of next week with quite mild temperatures!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are mild again with readings ranging from 39 in Clifton down to 32 at High Point. Winds are mainly from the southeast around 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 45.

Another round of rain will develop as a low pressure system approaches our area. Rain will develop this afternoon and become heavy at times tonight with a chance of a thunderstorm. Rainfall amounts will average between 1-2 inches and a flood watch is in effect. Southeast winds will increase with some gusts to 25 mph.

The rain is expected to end before daybreak on Sunday and there will be a lull in the winds in the morning but increase in the afternoon. Variable amounts of clouds and sunshine but there be a chance of rain or even snow showers in the afternoon and evening.

Monday will be dry and cool but with strong gusty winds to near 40 mph will make it feel even cooler, most highs will be in the 40s.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and milder but still breezy especially in the morning.

Very nice March weather is expected for most of the rest of next week with only a low chance of some showers on Friday. Most high temperatures will be in the 60s, note the average high for this period is only in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 13 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

THURSDAY – MAR 14 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – MAR 15 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, highs in the mid 60s.
