High pressure moving into our area will give us a sunny and warm day today with highs well up into the 70s to near 80. Winds will be light.
As the high pressure moves off the coast, a southwesterly flow of warmer air will be with us tomorrow through Thursday, with highs each day well up into the 80s, and possibly some 90 degree readings, especially on Wednesday.
A weak cold front will cross the area Thursday evening, which may produce some strong showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening.
High pressure will then build into our area for Friday giving us mostly sunny skies but it should not be as warm with highs near 80.
The holiday weekend looks to be cooler and a bit unsettled as a couple of disturbances may run along a front to our south to produce some showers Sunday and again on Memorial Day.
