Mostly sunny, hot and humid today! Very hot Wednesday through Friday with a chance of afternoon and evening showers on Friday! Less hot on the weekend with a chance of some showers!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and we have quite mild temperatures with readings ranging from 70 in Clifton down to 63 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light from the south-southwest. The air quality is good with an index of 25.

A strong ridge of high pressure offshore will give us a southwesterly flow of hot and humid air today, high temperatures will rise into the low 90s with dew points in the 60s. Skies will be mostly sunny.

The Bermuda high pressure will continue to give us very hot weather Wednesday through Friday, with highs well up into the 90s each day with dew points approaching the 70 degree mark. Also a weak front may touch off some showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.

It should be a little less hot over the weekend as there will be more clouds around, along with a chance of showers each day as a couple of weak fronts move through our area.

SUNDAY – JUNE 23 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, highs near 90.

MONDAY – JUNE 24 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, highs near 90.
