Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there is some patchy font in parts of the area. Temperatures range from 66 in Clifton down to 59 at High Point. Winds are light from the west. The air quality is good with an index of 38.

Last night there were some damaging winds in thunderstorms in parts of our area.About an inch of well needed rain fell overnight.

A cold front is moving through this morning and we will have clearing by this afternoon with much less humidity.

Friday will be a very nice June day with sunny skies and pleasant temperatures and humidity as high pressure will build into the area.

The weekend weather will be unsettled as a warm front will move through on Saturday followed by a cold front on Sunday. Humidity will increase along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day on Saturday becoming more likely Saturday night through Sunday. High pressure will dominate our weather Monday through Wednesday with near normal temperatures and with pleasantly warm temperatures.
