Sunny and quite warm today but with lowering humidity! Dry and seasonably warm with low humidity Sunday through much of next week as we may have the nicest stretch of weather so far this summer!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 72 in Clifton down to 65 at High Point and Hackettstown. Winds are light from the west. The humidity is still a little high with dew points near 70. The air quality is good with an index of 31.

Tropical cyclone Debby has moved well north of our area into eastern Canada. High pressure will then build into our area today with plenty of sunshine and rather warm temperatures however the humidity will drop with dew points near 60 by this evening.

What may be the nicest stretch of summer weather so far this summer, tomorrow through much if not all of next week, giving us plenty of sunshine each day with seasonable temperatures and low humidity.

TODAY – AUG 10 – Sunny with decreasing humidity, highs in the upper 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, lows in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – AUG 11 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – AUG 12 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – AUG 13 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – AUG 14 – Sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – AUG 15 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – AUG 16 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas until 5 p.m. this afternoon. Winds westerly to 15 knots, seas 4-7 feet. Belmar’s ocean temperature is 75 degrees.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
