Skies are mainly overcast early on this muggy Sunday morning and temperatures range from 70 in Clifton down to 66 at Sandyston, Hackettstown and High Point. Winds are light from the south. The air quality is good with an index of 41.

A couple of fronts moving through our area will cause mostly cloudy skies with a chance of mainly afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures should reach the low 80s with dew points near 70.
High pressure building from the Great Lakes will give us cooler and much less humid air for Labor Day. Highs will be in the 70s and the dew points should drop to the very comfortable 40s.
Dry and cool weather to persist through Friday. Highs each day should be in the 70s and overnight lows in the 50s.
A frontal system may give us some rain Friday night into the weekend.
