Skies are mainly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are about ten degrees cooler than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 55 in Clifton down to a chilly 42 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northerly. The air quality is good with an index of 25.

A large high pressure area centered over the Great Lakes will give us a sunny and cool day today with low humidity with dew points only in the 40s. High temperatures will be about five degrees cooler than yesterday but with much less wind.

The high pressure will continue to dominate our weather Wednesday through Friday with mostly sunny skies each day with near seasonable temperatures. The humidity will slowly rise to near 50 on Wednesday and into the 60s by Friday.

A frontal system will give us a good chance of rain on Saturday with showers possibly lingering into Sunday morning.

Next Monday should be dry and cool with pleasant humidity levels.
