Partly sunny with seasonably mild temperatures today for the last full day of summer! Mostly sunny and a little cooler on Sunday! Dry and cool again on Monday! Low chance of showers early Tuesday morning! Better chances of rain Wednesday and Thursday!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 63 in Clifton down to 53 at Pequest. Winds are light from the north-northeast. The air quality is good with an index of 42.

Today will be another dry day for the last full day of summer as low pressure is well offshore and high pressure builds from the north and west. High temperatures will be a little lower than yesterday with readings in the upper 70s and the humidity will be slightly lower with dew points in the 50s.

Note: We have not had any measurable precipitation now for 14 days.

The high pressure will continue to build into our area on Sunday and temperatures will be a little lower than today with highs mainly in the low 70s.

Dry and cool weather to continue on Monday along with partly sunny skies.

There will be a low chance of showers Tuesday morning but the better chance of well needed rainfall will be Wednesday and Thursday as a slow moving frontal system approaches from the west. Temperatures during this period will again be slightly below normal.

We should dry out by Friday but it will continue to be seasonably cool.

THURSDAY – SEP 26 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, highs in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – SEP 27 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST – A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas, winds northeast to 15 knots, seas 4-7 feet. Minor to moderate coastal flooding likely and a high risk of rip currents.

OUTLOOK: Advisories for high seas may continue Monday through Wednesday.
