Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 59 in Clifton down to 52 at Walpack and High Point. Winds are light from the north. The air quality is good with an index of 26.

Another mostly sunny day today as autumn begins at 8:43 a.m. Temperatures will be a little lower today with most highs in the mid 70s.

Dry weather to continue Monday and Tuesday, high temperatures will be slightly below normal both days with highs near 70.

Well needed rain is likely Wednesday into Thursday as a slow moving frontal system moves through the area.

The front may be slow to move offshore so there may still be a slight chance of a shower on Friday.

At this time next weekend looks to be dry with seasonable temperatures.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, northeast winds to 15 knots, seas 4-7 feet. Coastal flooding continues to be likely along with a high risk of rip currents.

OUTLOOK: Advisories still possible for high seas Tuesday through Wednesday.
