Skies are again cloudy early on this Friday morning and there have been some brief light showers falling in parts of the area. Temperatures continue to be mild with readings ranging from 63 in Clifton down to 58 at Vernon. Winds are mainly from the northeast. The air quality is good with an index of 34.

A cold front moved to our south overnight and we now have a northeast flow. Skies will remain cloudy today with a chance of some light scattered showers this morning. The humidity will be a little lower today with dew points in the 60s.
An upper level low along with some of the moisture from Hurricane Helene will again give us cloudy skies on Saturday with a good chance of showers.
Sunday and Monday look dry as high pressure noses down from New England, temperatures will be seasonably cool.
A frontal system will give us another good chance of showers Tuesday that may linger into Wednesday followed by a dry day on Thursday as the front moves offshore.
