Skies are mainly clear on this moon lit night and there is a big range in temperatures with readings ranging from 45 in Clifton down to a chilly 26 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northerly. The air quality is good with an index of 24.

High pressure will build closer to our area today and we will have a sunny and milder day today with highs well up into the 60s. We should have less wind than the last few days.

A very nice weekend is in store for our region with sunny skies both days. High temperatures will be near 70 on Saturday and in the mid 70s on Sunday.

As the high settles to our south we will have a return flow of unseasonably warm air Monday through Wednesday with highs each day approaching the 80 degree mark. A weak cold front will come through mostly dry at night.

Thursday will again be mostly sunny but with cooler temperatures.

SATURDAY – OCT 19 – Sunny, highs near 70.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 23 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – OCT 24 – Mostly sunny and cooler, highs in the mid 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisories is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 5-8 feet.
