Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and some inland areas have patchy fog. Once again there is a large spread in temperatures with readings ranging from 62 in Clifton down to 42 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 62.

Another very warm day is expected today with near record high temperatures. The record high for today in Clifton is 84 degrees set in 1979 which was 12 days after having our earliest snow flurries. Skies today will be sunny with light winds, the humidity will increase a bit with dew points in the 50s.
The high pressure will be moving off the southeast coast on Wednesday and we will have a brisk southwest flow, high temperatures should be a little lower than today but still be well above normal.
A weak cold front will come through late Wednesday night with a slight (20%) chance of a brief shower followed by clearing and cooler weather for Thursday along with breezy conditions.
Mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures Friday and Saturday, another weak cold front will cross our area late Saturday with again only a slight chance of a shower.
Cooler weather is expected Sunday and Monday as high pressure builds in from the Great Lakes. Skies will be mostly sunny both days.
