Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and there is some frost and freezes mainly across inland areas. Temperatures range from 41 in Clifton down to 29 at Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 51.

High pressure over the area will give us a mostly sunny day with light winds, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs near 60.
A little milder but with a little more clouds on Tuesday as a warm front approaches and moves through the area at night. There may be some sprinkles with the warm front but most areas will remain dry.
A southwest flow of unseasonably warm air will be with us Wednesday and again on Halloween with some records likely.
A cold front will cross the area on Friday giving us the best chance of some showers this week but it will not be a drought buster with probably less than 1/4″ of rainfall is expected.
The upcoming weekend looks dry again with near seasonable temperatures.
