Our dry period of no measurable rain has now reached 35 days with no rain is expected the next several days as our drought continues.
A strong high pressure is over our area today and will be moving slowly off the coast. We will have a mixture of clouds and sun today with high temperatures a couple of degrees higher than yesterday. Winds will be light.
A warm front is expected to pass to our north and east early Tuesday morning followed by a southwest flow of much warmer air as highs reach the low 70s.
Even warmer on Wednesday with high temperatures approaching the 80 degree mark with record highs likely.
A weak cold front will come through dry late Wednesday night. High pressure will then build into our area for Thursday and should dominate our weather through Saturday. Temperatures will be cooler but still above normal.
There is a chance of some rainfall on Sunday as a frontal system approaches the area.
