High pressure over the Great Lakes will build into our area today giving us a mostly sunny and cool day today. Winds will diminsh by this afternoon but there is still a red flag warning for our area until 6 p.m.

The high pressure will move off the New England coast on Sunday as a frontal system approaches our area. Light rain is expected Sunday night which will end our record dry spell. However only about 1/4″ of rain is expected which will not put much of a dent to our drought.

Veterans Day looks to be a dry, breezy but mild day with highs well up into the 60s.

Cooler and dry Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure builds into the area.

Another chance of showers will be on Thursday but looking at the recent computer models shows that this system will be weaker than what was indicated yesterday.
