Skies are mainly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are seasonably cold with readings ranging from 34 in Clifton down to 20 at Walpack. Wind are from the north around 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 31.

High pressure centered north of the Great Lakes will give us a north-northeast flow of cool and dry air today along with sunny skies. Winds will be lighter today but there is still a chance of brush and wildfires.
More clouds on Thursday along with continued cool conditions as a weak disturbance moves mainly to our south and again no precipitation is expected.
An extended period of dry weather Friday through at least the middle of next week along with milder temperatures as high pressure builds to our south.
