Mostly cloudy and mild today! Well needed rain, heavy at times along with cooler temperatures and stronger winds late tonight into Thursday! Quite cool on Friday with showers and some snow across the higher elevations to our north and west! Mainly dry on the weekend with seasonably cool temperatures!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and it is mild with readings ranging from 49 in Clifton down to 44 at Walpack and High Point. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 43.

High pressure will be moving off the coast today and we will have a mostly cloudy and mild day today with light winds.

Finally some well needed rain as a storm system approaches our area. Rain will begin late tonight and then become heavy at times through Thursday morning. Showers should continue through Thursday along with cool temperatures and a brisk wind.

The low pressure will loop around our area on Friday with showers continuing with a chance of some accumulating snow across the higher elevations to our north and west. Even here in Clifton we may have some of the rain mixed with snow. Temperatures will be quite cool along with gusty winds. Total rainfall from late tonight through Friday will average 2-3 inches. Which is well needed but will only put a dent into our current drought.

High pressure will build in for the weekend with mainly dry conditions and seasonably cool temperatures.

Mainly dry Monday and Tuesday with milder temperatures.

SATURDAY – NOV 23 – Partly sunny and breezy, highs in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – NOV 24 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 25 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – NOV 26 – Partly sunny, highs in the mid 50s.

OUTLOOK: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 11 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. Friday morning; advisories expected to continue Friday through the day on Sunday.
