Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from 47 in Clifton down to 40 at High Point and Wantage. Winds are calm or light southerly. The air quality is good with an index of 49.

A cold front will be crossing our area today with some showers mainly from 8 to 11 a.m. We should see some clearing by sunset and it will be mild with high temperatures near 60.
Weak high pressure will then build into our area giving us a mostly sunny and cooler day on Wednesday.
Rain is expected to develop before dawn on Thanksgiving possibly beginning as snow across those higher elevations to our north and west. Some models have the precipitation ending in the afternoon. Temperatures will be near normal.
Colder but dry weather is expected Friday through at least the beginning of next week as a Canadian high pressure builds towards our area.
Looking further ahead it appears that the first half of December will mainly have below normal temperatures.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Wednesday morning for southwest winds becoming northwest to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet.
