Good morning everyone!
Skies are cloudy and rain is overspreading our area this Thanksgiving morning. Temperatures range from 42 in Clifton down to 33 at High Point. Winds are calm or light northerly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 56.

A low pressure system moving into the area will give us rain through this morning ending around the middle of this afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly above normal with most highs in the low 50s. As the storm moves away we will have breezy conditions this evening. Rainfall amounts will average around 3/4 of an inch.
High pressure building in from the west will give us a mostly sunny and seasonably cool day on Friday.
The coldest air of the season is expected for the weekend as a Canadian high pressure builds into our area. Highs will only be near 40 both days with overnight lows in the 20s along with some brisk winds that will make it feel colder.
Cold and mainly dry weather is expected through much of next week as the Canadian high pressure continues to dominate our weather.
