A weak fast moving disturbance will cause some light snow today mixed with rain at times. Tonight the precipitation will be mainly in the form of snow that should continue into Saturday morning. Snowfall amounts will be mainly less than an inch with some higher amounts possible further inland.
Clearing by Saturday afternoon but it will be windy and cold.
The coldest air so far this season is expected Sunday into Monday with highs both days mainly only in the upper 20s despite plenty of sunshine.
Another weak disturbance will give us a low chance of light snow on Christmas Eve.
Dry and not as cold Christmas Day as high pressure builds into our area.

SATURDAY – DEC 21 – Cloudy in the morning with a chance of light snow then becoming mostly sunny, windy and colder, highs in the mid 30s.
SUNDAY – DEC 22 – Sunny, breezy and quite cold, highs in the upper 20s.
MONDAY – DEC 23 – Sunny, highs near 30.
TUESDAY – DEC 24 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow, highs in the upper 30s.
CHRISTMAS DAY – DEC 25 – Mostly sunny, highs near 40.
THURSDAY – DEC 26 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 40s.
