Skies are cloudy along with some dense fog and drizzle, temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 43 in Clifton down to 34 at Walpack and Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 71.

A warm front will pass through our area this morning preceded by fog and drizzle this morning and followed by a brisk southerly flow of much milder air with high temperatures well up into the 50s. The afternoon should be dry with only a small chance of some peeks of sunshine.
A cold front will cross the area around dawn on Monday preceded by very mild air along with showers that may be heavy at times. Clearing Monday afternoon but it will stay mild.
Increasing clouds on Tuesday with rain developing at night and showers lingering into New Year’s Day. Temperatures will continue to be above normal.
Dry and colder Thursday through the weekend!
Looking even further ahead unlike the last few Januarys it looks like we will remain cold and for the snow lovers there will be a couple of chances of significant snow.
