A strong low pressure moving across eastern Canada will cause a cold front to cross the area today. Temperatures will be nearly steady in the mid-upper 30s which will fall to the low 30s by late this afternoon. Winds will gust to near 40 mph during the day, diminishing tonight.
A warm front will move to our north Wednesday morning followed by a cold front later in the day. Temperatures will be mild and there is a chance of mainly rain showers during the day. Winds will again be quite gusty with gusts to 45 mph.
Brief high pressure will give us a dry and colder day on Thursday with much less wind.
A frontal system will likely give us rain on Friday possibly beginning as a mixture of snow and sleet. High temperatures will be in the 40s. This precipitation will probably prevent our area from having the driest January on record.
Saturday looks to be dry and colder.
A weak low pressure will give us a chance of rain or snow on Sunday.
