Good morning everyone and Happy first day of Solar Spring!

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR FEBRUARY 6TH:

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 37 LOW: 24 PRECIPITATION: NONE  On this date in 1978 our area had a massive blizzard with nearly 2 feet of snow along with strong winds.

A low pressure system will give us snow accumulating to 1-2 inches before mixing with freezing rain and sleet after sunrise then to all rain before ending this afternoon. A winter weather advisory is in effect.

After the storm pulls away high pressure will then build into our area giving us a strong northwest flow of seasonably cold air. Some wind gusts to 35 mph are possible.

Another low pressure system will give us snow Saturday night and again mixing with sleet and freezing rain before ending Sunday morning.

Monday will be partly sunny and cold.
