High pressure will be moving off the coast as a storm system approaches from the southwest. We will have an increase in clouds today with snow developing around 7 p.m. The snow may be heavy at times before mixing with sleet around midnight. Accumulations should be between 3-5 inches with higher amounts further inland.
The mixed snow and sleet should end around daybreak on Sunday followed by clearing in the afternoon. Temperatures will be seasonably cold.
High pressure will briefly move through our area on Monday with sunny skies but with cold temperatures.
A low pressure system will give us a good chance of mainly light snow Tuesday afternoon and night although some computer models now have the storm too far south to give us significant snows.
Still another low pressure system will give us snow Wednesday night possible changing to rain on Thursday.
Friday looks to be a mostly sunny and cold day.
