High pressure off the New England coast will give us a light southeasterly flow of mild and moist air today. Skies will remain cloudy much of the day with scattered patchy drizzle especially this morning.
A warm front will move to our north late tonight and we will have an increasingly southerly flow of quite mild air on Sunday. There may be some scattered showers Sunday morning but most of the heavier showers will occur from late in the afternoon through the early hours of Sunday. Winds will gust at times to above 40 mph. Rainfall amounts will be around one inch.
Monday will be mainly cloudy and cooler as the cold front associated with the low pressure moves slowly off the coast. There still will be a chance of showers in the morning.
Mild and dry weather returns for Tuesday and Wednesday as weak high pressure moves into the area.
Another cold front may cause some showers on Thursday followed by much cooler and breezy weather for Friday.
