Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and it is quite chilly with temperatures ranging from 30 in Clifton down to 21 at High Point. Winds are gusty out of the northwest to 20 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 32.

High pressure moving into our area will give us mostly sunny skies today with seasonably cool temperatures. Gusty winds this morning will diminish by this afternoon.

A frontal system will give us rain on Monday mainly from before dawn through the middle of the afternoon. Some of the precipitation may begin as snow across the higher elevations to our north and west. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

High pressure will give us a sunny day on Tuesday with near normal temperatures.

A weak disturbance will give us a low chance of showers on Wednesday which may begin as a mixture of snow in the morning.

Mainly dry weather with near seasonable temperatures Thursday through the start of the weekend.
