Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are some light showers in parts of the area. Temperatures are still on the mild side with readings ranging from 54 in Clifton down to 45 at High Point. Winds are light from the east. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

Today will be a cloudy day with a chance of showers as high pressure moves off the New England coast and a frontal system moves into our area. Southeast winds will become brisk with gusts to 25 mph. Temperatures will gradually fall into the 40s by this afternoon.
Sunday will be a little milder but we should have showers mainly after 2 p.m. and extending through the night.
The frontal system will slowly move offshore Monday morning followed by partial clearing but it will be cool.
High pressure will then give us dry but chilly weather Tuesday through Thursday.
Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers on Friday but with milder temperatures.

TODAY – APR 5 – Cloudy with a chance of showers this morning then showers likely this afternoon, early highs in the mid 50s will drop to the 40s this afternoon. Southeast winds will gust to 25 mph.
TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers likely, lows in the mid 40s.
SUNDAY – APR 6 – Cloudy with a chance of showers mainly after 2 p.m. highs in the upper 50s. Showers expected at night.
MONDAY – APR 7 – Chance of early showers then remaining mostly cloudy, highs in the upper 40s.
TUESDAY – APR 8 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 40s.
WEDNESDAY – APR 9 – Sunny, highs near 50.
