Some rainfall rates could be between 1-2 inches an hour with total rainfall averaging 3-6 inches with higher amounts possible. Due to our wet ground from Tropical Storm Henri considerable flooding is expected. A flash flood watch is in effect. Also there is a chance of some small tornadoes with the best chance of some spin-ups will be across the central and southern parts of the state.

The storm will move offshore on Thursday with rain ending by daybreak followed by mostly sunny skies by the afternoon and it will be breezy with much less humidity.

Tranquil weather Friday through most of the Labor Day weekend as high pressure builds into the area. Most of the time it will be dry but there is a chance of showers Sunday afternoon and night.
