Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and some sprinkles or flurries are falling over parts of our area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 40 in Clifton down to 34 at Basking Ridge and Sandyston. Winds are calm or light westerly.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with light winds and slightly milder temperatures as high pressure moves offshore and a cold front approaches from the west. This front will cause showers late tonight into Monday morning, most of the rain will be light with rainfall amounts less than 1/4″.
The front will be followed by colder air on Monday with slow clearing in the afternoon. High temperatures will around 50 in the morning and drop to the low 40s by sunset.
Tuesday will be chilly and breezy with highs only in the low 40s. Wednesday will still be cool but with less wind. Early morning temperatures both Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 20s which would be the coldest so far this season.
Thanksgiving Day looks to be quite pleasant with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 50s.
Another cold front will cross the area on Friday with a slight chance of showers followed by cooler air for next weekend.

SATURDAY – NOV 27 – Mostly sunny and cooler, high in the low 40s.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 10 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. Tuesday morning; advisories expected to continue Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning; no advisories expected from Wednesday afternoon through Thanksgiving Day.
