Another very warm and muggy night, temperatures at daybreak in Clifton fell just below the 80 degree mark.
With plenty of sunshine again today high temperatures will reach near 100 degrees and with dew points in the 70s will push the heat index to near 110 degrees.
A cold front will be approaching the area on Saturday, temperatures will still rise into the 90s with high humidity before the frontal passage. Thunderstorms are likely tomorrow afternoon into the evening, some may be strong.
Finally some relief from the heat by Sunday with mostly sunny skies temperatures will only rise into the mid to upper 80s.
Next week most highs will be in 80s but there will be chances of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday.

Saturday – Partly sunny and humid with showers and thunderstorms likely mainly between 2-8PM, some storms may have gusty winds, frequent lightning and heavy rain, high in the mid 90s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, cooler and less humid, highs in the mid-upper 80s.
Monday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.
Tuesday – Mostly Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.
Wednesday – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid-upper 80s.
Thursday – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid-upper 80s.
Marine Forecast: Today – South-southwest winds to 15 knots, seas 3 feet.
Outlook – Small craft advisory issued from 4AM Saturday till 4AM on Sunday, otherwise sub-advisory level condition later Sunday through the middle part of next week.
