We have some light rain at 6:20am in Clifton with heavier rain just to our north, temperatures are in the low 70s along with very high humidity.
The first batch of precipitation should move to our north this morning but more showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop later this morning and be with us through this evening, some of the rain will be heavy at times with possible strong winds in some of the stronger thunderstorm cells. It will remain mainly cloudy but some breaks of sun are also possible. Temperatures should reach the 80s with very high humidity.
A cold front will cross the area late this evening ending the threat of rain.
A beautiful weather weekend is in store for our area, high temperatures will reach the upper 80s tomorrow and mid 80s on Sunday with plenty of sunshine and much lower humidity.
The nice weather will extend into Monday but on Tuesday another cold front will swing through giving us a chance of showers.
Pleasant weather will return Wednesday through the end of next week with mostly fair skies and low humidity.
