My forecast for yesterday of temperatures in the upper 80s with scattered showers didn’t workout that well as we had rain most of the day with high only in the upper 70s due to an upper air disturbance that moved though our area. I picked up .53″ yesterday but some parts of Somerset county recorded over four inches of rain causing flash flooding.
A cold front did move east of our area early this morning, temperatures at daybreak are in the upper 60s.
Today we will have mostly sunny skies with lower humidity dew points dropping to the 50s..
Excellent weather this weekend with seasonably warm days and low humidity and plenty of sunshine.
We should squeeze out another nice day on Monday but humidity will start to rise and there is a chance of showers at night.
Warmer and more humid weather most of next week with shower chances increasing.
Latest indications that the Labor Day weekend will be quite warm.
