A strong cold front will approach our area today and move off the coast tonight, there will be a good chance of showers during the day today with showers and possibly a thunderstorm tonight. Some of the storms tonight may be accompanied by gusty winds and heavy rain. Rainfall will average between 1/2 and 1 inch with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday will be a seasonable mild day as high pressure builds into our area, skies will be sunny.
Quite pleasant fall weather this weekend with mostly sunny skies both days and temperatures a bit above normal.
A cold front will cross the area Monday night with a chance of showers followed by possibly the coolest air of the season Tuesday and Wednesday.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 11 a.m. this morning until 6 p.m. Friday evening for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.
