Rain developing by 9 a.m. and continuing through tonight! Mostly cloudy and breezy on Friday! After a dry Saturday more rain is expected Sunday afternoon through Monday morning! Another storm may cause some rain again Tuesday night into Wednesday!

Skies have become cloudy early on this Thursday morning and early temperatures range from 38 in Clifton down to 30 at Pequest. Winds are calm or light westerly.

A storm system now over the Ohio Valley will move towards our area and will cause rain to develop by 9 a.m. and continue through tonight and ending around midnight. With the clouds and precipitation, highs will be lower than yesterday but there will be much less wind. Rainfall amounts will be around 1 inch.

Friday will remain mostly cloudy but we should remain dry with highs in the 40s.

After a dry Saturday another storm system will give us a good chance of rain Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.

Still another storm will give us mainly rain Tuesday night into Wednesday but may start off as snow mainly further inland.

After the storm passes we should have colder weather by late next week.

TODAY – JAN 19 – Cloudy with rain developing by 9 a.m. high in the mid 40s.

TONIGHT – Rain ending around midnight, low in the upper 30s.

FRIDAY – JAN 20 – Mostly cloudy and breezy, high in the upper 40s.

SATURDAY – JAN 21 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – JAN 22 – Mostly cloudy with rain developing by the afternoon, high in the mid 40s.

MONDAY – JAN 23 – Chance of rain in the morning then becoming partly sunny and breezy, high in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY – JAN 24 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s. Chance of rain or snow at night.

WEDNESDAY – JAN 25 – Cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the mid 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – East-southeast wind to 10 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 4 a.m. Friday morning through 6 a.m. Saturday morning; no advisories expected the rest of Saturday; advisories probable Sunday and Monday.
