Cool and breezy with rain developing this morning and ending tonight! Mostly sunny, breezy and milder on Sunday! Weak disturbances to give chances of rain Monday evening through Wednesday morning! Another chance of rain on Friday!

Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 41 in Clifton down to 33 at Walpack and High Point. Winds are light from the north-northeast.

A low pressure system to our west will give us rain mainly from 10 a.m. this morning until 10 p.m. tonight. Some of the precipitation may start off as a mixture of sleet mainly across higher elevations to our north and west. It will be a cool day with a brisk onshore flow. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/2 inch.

Brief high pressure will move into our area for Sunday and we should see plenty of sunshine and milder temperatures but it will be breezy.

Unsettled weather much of next week. Weak low pressure areas will give us chances of rain from Monday evening through Wednesday morning.

Thursday looks to be dry with near seasonable temperatures but another stronger system may give us more rain on Friday.

TODAY – MAR 25 – Rain developing around 10 a.m. windy with gusts to 35 mph from the east, highs in the upper 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with rain ending around 10 p.m., partly cloudy after midnight, lows steady in the upper 40s. Total rainfall near 1/2 inch.

SUNDAY – MAR 26 – Sunny, breezy and milder, highs in the low 60s. Wind gust to 30 mph possible.

MONDAY – MAR 27 – Increasing clouds, high in the mid 50s, chance of rain at night.

TUESDAY – MAR 28 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, highs in the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 29 – Partly sunny with a chance of rain in the morning, highs in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – MAR 30 – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – MAR 31 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the mid 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: Small craft advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday morning for southerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected from late Sunday afternoon through Monday night; small craft advisories possible on Tuesday; advisories likely for Wednesday; advisories possible again on Thursday.
