Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and early temperatures range from 46 in Clifton down to 35 at Hackettstown. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will give us mostly sunny skies both today and again on Sunday with highs mainly in the comfortable 70s.

A weak disturbance may touch off some showers late Sunday night into early Monday morning followed by clearing and continued mild on Monday.

A weak frontal system may touch off more showers on Tuesday along with cooler temperatures.

High pressure will then build into our area Wednesday through Friday. Wednesday should be seasonably cool with temperatures returning to above normal levels Thursday and Friday.

TUESDAY – MAY 9 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers mainly after 2 p.m., highs in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – MAY 11 – Sunny, highs in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 12 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.
