Mostly sunny but hazy and cooler today! Mostly sunny and a little milder on Wednesday! Dry and cool Thursday and Friday! Mainly dry over the holiday weekend along with near seasonable temperatures!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and early temperatures range from 54 in Clifton down to 44 at Walpack, Basking Ridge and Pequest. Winds are mainly calm.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR MAY 23RD:

AVERAGE HIGH: 73 AVERAGE LOW: 54

RECORD HIGH: 91 – 1980 RECORD LOW: 41 – 2006

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 77 LOW: 55 PRECIPITATION: NONE

High pressure building into the area from off the New England coast will give us a light onshore flow of cooler air today. Skies will be mostly sunny but again it will be hazy due to the wildfires in Alberta Canada, so instead of the skies being bright blue there will be a yellow-orange tint

Wednesday will be a little warmer ahead of a weak cold front that should come through dry at night.

Cooler and dry Thursday and Friday.

It now appears much of the holiday weekend will be dry with only a slight to low chance of showers Sunday and on Memorial day. Temperatures will be near seasonable levels.
