A slow moving frontal system will cause showers and thunderstorms to develop this afternoon and become heavy at times through tonight. A flood watch is in effect as 1-2 inches of rainfall can be expected with some higher amounts possible. High temperatures will be a little lower today with the clouds and precipitation, but the humidity will remain high with dew points in the 70s.

The front will be slow to move offshore so showers and thunderstorms are likely on Monday, but shower chances decrease by Monday night along with less humid air.

Tuesday and Wednesday should be dry and hot with moderate humidity as a weak high moves into the area.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon through at least the beginning of next weekend along with higher humidity.
