Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and it is quite warm once again with temperatures ranging from 75 in Clifton down to 69 at Hackettstown. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 42.

One more day of heat and humidity as a cold front approaches our area today and moves offshore tonight. There may be a shower this morning but most of the showers and thunderstorms will be from around 3 to 9 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny and temperatures once again will rise to the 90s and with dew points in the 70s the heat index will rise to between 100-105 degrees, a heat advisory is in effect.
Finally much cooler and drier air will move into our area on Sunday as high pressure builds into our area.
Very nice summer weather Monday through Wednesday with slightly below normal temperatures along with comfortable humidity.
Shower chances increase Thursday and especially Friday as a frontal system moves through the area; temperatures will remain near normal but the humidity will increase.
